Bad Moon Rising Part 2 - Oil
About 20 years ago a lot of people thought the IRAN HOSTAGE CRISIS was a signal the end times were near, before that MUTUAL ASSURED DESTRUCTION with Russia. In the 90’s we had the first IRAQ war, then 9/11 and lately the 2ND IRAQ WAR, with our ELECTED LEADERS about to bomb IRAN.
I always thought the biblical reference to the BEAR was CHINA - and I think the bear will soon make a lot of NEWS.
Communist China’s rise to an economic superpower and it’s military buildup may turn to aggression. They’re a country that PERSECUTES their citizens, don’t play by the RULES and have us IN DENIAL, while we all PRETEND everything’s fine.
In a way it’s good to see GAS PRICES going up - if it WAKES US UP. Limited supplies and the Chinese people trading their bicycles for cars will mean not enough oil to go around. While countries like BRAZIL are almost energy independent, the US is gripped on mideast oil dependecy thanks to corporate ruling of America that LINES THE POCKETS OF EXXON/MOBIL CEOS at the expense of our future.
Buddhists say the three sins of mankind are greed, ill-will and delusion. Certainly corporate GREED and the loss of BABY-BOOMERS’ pensions demonstrate greed. What’s going on in The Middle East over religion and wars - may be the epitome of delusion. Ill-will remains mostly MASKED.
The DELUSIONS us Americans believe, and world events that are shaping our FUTURES, may be STARTING to get our attention.
