He’s Got The Look

will-code-html-for-food.jpg

Thus saith the Lord; Stand ye at the crossroads and look, and ask for the ancient Ways, where the path is good, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls.”
- Jeremiah 6:16

Here’s a letter I got the other day from SOMEONE I MET at Sprint FOUR YEARS AGO when we were both temping as ENGINEERS, and treated like THINGS.

I’m sitting at Panera Bread, with my laptop and this guy comes and ask me, “What kind of work you do?”.

At first glance I’m afraid, he looks crazy...disturbed.

As we continue to talk, I realized he doesn’t have the crazy look...he is just desperate and needs someone to talk too.

He is unemployed and desperate.

I wish I could talk more to him.

My only question; why did he chose me, among the crowd?

Did he know, I’m the only one who can understand him?

Did he see the pain in my face?

Did God send him to me, to ease his problems?

- Eddie
