Rising Of The Telecom Underclass Part 5

The Thanksgiving Eve Massacre at Sprint.

Like a good, hard-working, contracted-laborer - I reported to my engineering job - bright and early as usual.

An hour later the boss calls us in for a meeting.
About 20 other contractors and myself were let go.

Just like that.

No warning.
No two weeks notice.
No coffee and donuts.
No compassion.
No nothing.

Now I know how a turkey feels on Thanksgiving Day.

In memory of the layed off workers of AT&T

Today's Diversion

There are three bombs. The first one is the atomic bomb, which disintegrates reality, the second one is the digital or computer bomb, which destroys the principle of reality itself - not the actual object - and rebuilds it, and finally the third bomb is the demographic one. - Albert Einstein
